Internship at Hajime Yoshida Architecture: Maison & Objet

  • During my internship, I was tasked with developing multiple design concepts for Maison&Objet Paris. This involved creating numerous physical and 3D models to explore form, materiality, and presentation.

  • I also designed a series of lampshades inspired by the Kabuto, the helmet of traditional samurai armor. For Maison&Objet, the main focus was to highlight the copper coloring techniques of Momentum Factory Orii.

  • In addition, we presented a collaborative piece with a fashion designer, developed in partnership with Momentum Factory Orii. Inspired by the O-Yoroi, the samurai breastplate,  the design translates its strength and symbolism into a modern, expressive object.
