BAP:  Down To Earth

• Down to Earth is a chair shaped by the earth itself. It invites the user to slow down and physically reconnect with the ground. Instead of being lifted away from nature, the body is brought closer to it. The tactility of soil, texture and natural material creates a direct contact between the user and the landscape.

• By touching, sitting and feeling the earth, the chair becomes more than an object. It becomes a quiet moment of grounding. The roughness, weight and natural imperfections of the material help the user escape from overstimulation and return to a calmer state of mind. Down to Earth offers a place where the body can settle, the senses can soften, and the user can reconnect with themselves through nature.
